Tucson South Corps opened in 1990 as a bilingual corps and church, to serve the growing needs of South Tucson's Hispanic population.
South Corps sponsors a variety of programs to address the educational, recreational, fellowship and spiritual needs of young and old alike. Extensive children's programming includes summer day camps, field trips, youth fellowship and Vacation Bible School.
In addition to complete worship and ministry services, South Corps Commmunity Center also hosts an active women's Home League, featuring special outings, crafts and various community activities. And many new children's, youth and adult programs, including after-school events, Tae Kwan Do and GED certification.
The South Corps Community Center provides programs in which Sewing Workshops and English Classes for adults are offered. For the youth: a Troop program, which is a character building activity for young people ages 4-18. Its primary objective is to assist every child in search for life's meaning and to lead them into a personal faith in Jesus Christ. All programs are non-denominational and open to everyone.
