March 15 - April 15
The Salvation Army is partnering with Safeway and Albertsons stores to collect food and snacks for the children in Tucson. In Tucson, The Salvation Army hosts “Summer Day Camp,” Monday through Friday for more than 200 children during the summer months. The food collected during this drive will feed all children throughout the program. The Salvation Army is providing school-aged kids with a safe place to go throughout the day during the summer. Children participate in different activities, lessons, and fieldtrips to engage their minds throughout the summer. More than 200 volunteers will dedicate their summer in helping our program succeed again for another year.
